Project Objective:
Pick an animal and successfully imitate its essence, personality, and physical traits using design fundamentals. Then, using the fibonacci proportions and type, communicate a phrase.
Research & Sketches
When I first started the project, I wanted to do a rabbit since they are my favorite animal and are relatively easy to draw with shapes. After some consideration, I chose to do a sloth since it was an animal I didn't think anyone else would think to do; a rabbit was just too common.

From the beginning, I knew that I wanted to use the test to indicate the tree branch that the sloth is hanging from, but I had a difficult time making an interesting composition while making sure the test isn't just sitting on the page.
